THIS IS A REMOTE OPPORTUNITY IN THE US.

Spiro is hiring an Associate Director - Account Management to join our Sales team. The Associate Director - Account Management works in partnership with Sales, delivering best-in-class service. The Associate Director - Account Management is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and monitoring of account management activities, focusing on the delegation of account assignments, and enforcing standards/procedures that result in projects being on-time, within budget, and to the client's complete satisfaction. Also entails full cycle management of the Account Manager's throughout the Region.

Responsibilities



  • Structure, lead and develop Account Management staff
  • Onboarding and training with new Account Management team members.
  • Continued training and refreshers for existing staff
  • Build and write team processes as well as update SOPs, training videos for Account Management tasks
  • Serve as a member of the management team driving improvements in growth and profitability
  • Work internally and with team to resolve conflicts
  • Conduct interviews and make recommendations for new hires, consultants and replacement personnel
  • Administer annual reviews and recommend merit increases, while staying within company budget
  • Help Account Manger's achieve annual sales targets
  • Monitor daily workloads and account assignments, providing a balance between all Account Managers
  • Monitor and approve vacation requests, sick time and expense reports
  • Ensure processes run smooth, on time and final results are executed without flaw
  • Ensure proper communication and resolve conflicts both internally and externally, resulting in smooth workflow from different departments including, Operations, Design and other Sales staff
  • Motivate Account Management staff and help facilitate projects through the workflow process
  • Work with the Estimating department to ensure client specific pricing and terms and conditions
  • Provide assistance with metrics and internal transition meetings
  • Insure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

  • Minimum 10 years experience in sales support and leadership role. Must demonstrate ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Experience in employee training, mentoring and development
  • Ability to communicate sales concepts within, and outside the sales department
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to reach people through highly developed verbal and oral skills
  • Solid organization skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or other related business preferred

How to measure success



  • By 30 days incumbent should understand team dynamics and perform basic job functions - Understand the Spiro company, our business and Account Management role while working independently.
  • By 60 days incumbent should be self-reliant on basic job functions and begin executing more complex tasks - Connect with and communicate with assigned team members - build the relationships and understand the accounts under their umbrella.
  • By 90 days, incumbent should have ownership with functioning in their role with support from Account Director - Account Management and Associate Director - Account Management team
