Position Overview
The Ticketing & Credentials Specialist will be assigned to support the Ticketing & Credentials team for various HNS managed events, which currently include 1) the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, 2) The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren, 3) Stifel Charity Classic presented by Compliance Solutions 4) Club Car Championship 5) Compliance Solutions Championship and others. The Ticketing & Credentials Specialist is responsible for supporting the ticketing process which includes selling, distributing, and servicing tickets and credentials for each event. This further includes helping manage the ticket office leading into and during events while providing first-class customer service to customers, members, volunteers and vendors. This position reports directly to the Memorial Tournament and HNS Ticketing Director & Manager.
Position Duties/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) * Event creation, credential builds/maintenance, pricing and management of all aspects related to ticketing.
* Work closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Community Relations and Golf Club teams to execute a successful event with the ability to interact with members, patrons, volunteers, vendors and fellow team members in a positive, confident, and friendly manner.
* Develop ticket sales plans with tournament management staff - primary interaction with Executive Director, Ticketing Director & Manager, Sales Director, Sales Associates.
* Manage inbound and outbound customer touchpoints for multiple events (Phone & Email).
* Provide a consistently high level of customer service to ensure all customer inquiries are responded to appropriately and on a timely basis.
* Work with the publishing/design company for all artwork related to credentials.
* Work with Committees, Dept. Heads and staff to ensure accurate credentials are printed and distributed.
* Manage relationship with contracted ticketing / credential / software vendors (Ticketmaster & Cueto).
* Assist in selecting, training, and supervising 1-2 Ticket Office support staff leading into and during each event (expected timing of support staff is 1 to 2 months leading into and during event).
* Work with the Sales & Activation teams to provide an excellent experience leading up to and during each assigned event.
Qualifications/Abilities
* 2 - 3 years of ticketing/credential experience.
* Ability to learn and gain knowledge of ticketing/credentials systems.
* Travel to various HNS supported golf tournaments throughout the year.
* Commitment to and demonstrated success in delivering a high level of customer service.
* Strong time management, organizational and coordinating skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with ticket buyers, other employees and vendors.
* Proven job reliability, diligence, and dedication.
* Ability to efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights and weekends. * Strong knowledge of computer programs. Must be proficient in Excel and database applications, as well as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Employment Structure
* Shared employee of the Memorial Tournament / Muirfield Village Golf Club and HNS Sports Group.
* Direct report to HNS & Memorial Ticketing Director & Manager, Managing Partner / Memorial Executive Director and each tournament's Executive Director.
* Salary, health benefits (health, vision, dental), 401k (after 1 year of employment), bonus eligibility.
* Travel required for the various events including the Club Car Championship, Ally Challenge, Stifel Charity Classic, Compliance Solutions Championship, and TBD events beginning in 2026.
* 1 - 2 months total, potential additional travel dependent upon the event schedule assigned.
Compensation
* Annual Salary TBD based on experience. Note: Eligible for annual salary increase based on individual and company performance.
* Annual performance bonus (measured by individual and company performance).
