AN OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN THE NPT TEAM
The Seasonal Donor Relations, Associate is responsible for providing exceptional, high quality, and efficient donor-centric service to donors, financial advisors, bankers, and others. This position requires strong attention to detail and prompt and accurate responses to inquiries received via telephone, email, or fax. The Donor Relations Associate will work closely with other departments/colleagues at National Philanthropic Trust (NPT) to ensure that services to NPT's donors and advisors are delivered in a prompt, efficient and accurate manner. The successful candidate will employ a consultative, personable, and professional approach while representing NPT and its Financial Service Partners to attract and retain donors. NPT is looking for people with a passion for excellent customer/donor service.
The intended shifts available are 9 am to 5 pm, 11am to 7 pm, or 12pm - 8pm Monday through Friday but NPT will request some flexibility during our busy season of November-December. The last week of the year (December 26 -January 1) will be a blackout period for time off. This role starts in August 27th or Septemper 24th, and the intended completion date is on or around mid-January 2026. Position offers a pay rate of $20-23 per hour and is fully remote.
Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Provide exceptional and efficient front-line service and support (phone and written) to inquiries from NPT donors, advisors, and others.
  • Track, escalate, and resolve calls, emails, fulfillment requests, and issues through a Salesforce case management system, ensuring all information gathered on calls is accurately captured in Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment to recognize when issues should be escalated to subject-matter experts for further handling.
  • Manage follow-up activities with donors and clients consistent with stated criteria.
  • Support extended phone coverage hours during Giving Season (October - December)
  • Attend and participate in all relevant meetings and training sessions.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assist other NPT teams on an as-needed basis, including data entry of donor information.

What You Bring:


  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software programs - experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette skills, with the ability to handle client concerns and issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to interact professionally with institutional clients, high net worth individuals as well as develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues across the organization as well as the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful team-player with collaborative and professional demeanor and the ability to successfully engage internal and external colleagues and constituents.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent, sound judgment.
  • A strong work ethic with reliable attendance
  • Reliable access to the internet



Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of prior customer service experience preferred.



Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
