Join our diverse team as a Mechanical Engineer where you will play a critical role in designing mechanical equipment according to customer specifications. Salary: $80,000/yr. Schedule: Shifts can vary, and some travel will be involved. Essential Functions: Perform mechanical and process calculations to determine design parameters. Draft mechanical designs (2D and 3D) for welding, fabrication, machining and installation. Perform all duties safely. Willing to learn and perform other tasks and duties as needed. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience and bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Proficient in taking precise physical measurements, field measurements across North America, and determining design parameters for industrial projects. Knowledgeable in industrial equipment design, including conveyor screws, vacuum equipment, bearings, and drives/gears, with familiarity in fabrication, machining processes, and manufacturing tolerances. Skilled in customer interaction to gather design requirements and preferences, and capable of clear communication of technical information in written and verbal formats. Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team to meet project objectives effectively.
