As a Security Professional - Retail Site - Morning Shift in Central Valley, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the retail environment to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to maintain a secure environment for staff and customers.
• Support loss prevention efforts by being present and attentive throughout the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
