Research Scientists are expected to serve as Principal Investigators on extramural grants, generate high caliber publications and research products, engage in university and public service, continuously demonstrate independent and creative research activity of high quality and significance, and garner scholarly reputation. Appointments and duration vary depending on the length of the research project and availability of funding. PhD in Bioengineering or related engineering discipline is required for this position. Preferred qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Candidates with outstanding writing and communication skills, as demonstrated by a successful publication record, are preferred. We are looking to select exceptional individuals in the development of bioengineering sciences, methods and instrumentation with: Experience and engineering background with previous employment working in the fields of genomic, molecular, nuclear, cellular, organismal, physicological analysis and design, or functional biomechanics and systems analysis.
