The University of Virginia's School of Nursing seeks an Admissions Specialist to serve in the Office of Admissions and Student Services. The Admissions Specialist will provide general and clerical coordination to support the operations of the Admissions Team in the School of Nursing under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Admissions. Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students via phone calls, general admissions emails, and virtual meeting platforms. Connect prospective students with the correct member of the admissions team based on program(s) of interest. Manage the main SON phone line, review, answer, and handle correspondence, calls, documents, and visitors, which may include sensitive or confidential matters, and ensure that communications are relayed to the appropriate individuals. Provide administrative support for recruitment, admission, and academic program events including responsibilities such as booking travel, expense tracking, and event planning logistics. Meet with and provide prospective student tours on as needed basis. Provide logistical and technical support in scheduling information sessions, recruitment events, and community outreach efforts. Track inventories and manage ordering of recruitment supplies and materials. Collaborate with the School of Nursing communications and marketing team to organize, update, and manage all printed recruitment and academic program materials. Maintain and review electronic files and transcripts, collection of admissions information, and produce reports, as needed. Maintain prerequisite compliance and admission standards for incoming student cohorts Regularly review and update admission information on website pages Provide administrative support for special projects. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Compensation: The Anticipated Hiring Range for this position is $21.63 - $24.04 per hour ($45,000 - $50,000 Annually). This is a full-time position with UVA benefits. Employee benefits package highlights include:
