Qualifications:

  • Organized to complete all tasks in a timely manner and document accordingly.
  • Able to think and act quickly, as well task switch effectively.
  • 5 years of GCCS operations experience is preferred
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel/Word and the ability to learn and use company specialized applications
  • Possess technical expertise to provide instruction and guidance to less experienced individuals.
  • Patience to deal with less experienced individuals and provide training.
  • Detailed to follow up on supervised parties and excellent documentation.
  • Maintain a high level of performance as an example to others.
  • Positive Attitude - To help mentor others and provide guidance as necessary.
  • Willingness to relocate for promotional opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to operate and interpret data from an Elkins Envision Gas Analyzer and GEM Gas Analyzer
  • Maintain solid relationships with client by maintain high quality performance standards, and effective communication at all times.
  • Schedule project routine tasks - Generate tuning, SEM, preventive maintenance schedule for all sites for which you are responsible. Ensure all are complete including preventative maintenance for mechanical apparatus for which we are responsible, and that client and internal SOP's are followed.
  • Preparing cost estimates/proposals, provide to District manager for review and approval.
  • Troubleshoot GCCS and related systems
  • Assist with leachate collection system operations
  • Identify and mitigate environmental hazards (e.g., leachate seeps)
  • Schedule non-routine events, including preparing work plan, ordering materials, PO generation and procurement, coordination of equipment and personnel.
  • Ensure health and safety of all staff on projects. Ensure that all applicable safety procedures are followed and documented as required.
  • Responsible for the profitability of assigned projects.
  • Assist other regions in sharing under-utilized personnel or in times of need people to get the work completed. Share resources!
  • Present our weekly/monthly data to the team associated with the site (i.e. environmental manager, site manager, air permitters, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance from your technicians by filling out required inspection forms on time without fail.
  • Be available for on-call response (physically on site or by phone as required) to GCCS related malfunction events
