Data Visualization Manager - SVP

A franchise critical metrics and controls application is looking for a Senior Data Visualization expert with extensive data skills. This role will be responsible for the enterprise impacting insights and metrics. ROCK- controls Command centeris one of the delivery channels and component of Olympus data fabric that provides a one stop centralized platform for all ICG Data Controls, specific Business Controls and ICG Application Estate System Controls. Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
• Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
• Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
• Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data visualization.
• Establish data visualization standards and explore new, cutting-edge tools to periodically raise those standards.
• Support the development of standards and process documentation to utilize the various data sources to create a unified set of data points, techniques to collect and organize the data and present strong dashboard reporting for clients understanding and use of the data held.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Communicate results through presentations, reports, tools, and data visualizations
• Design and develop custom dashboard solutions, as well as re-usable data visualization templates.
• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data pattern interpretation, effective presentation and analytics, with reporting components from multiple data sources.
• Experience with SQL, ETL, data warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts required.
• Experience working as part of software development teams would be beneficial.
• Domain knowledge of Capital Markets, Trading lifecycle, would be important to have
• Working experience with d3.js charts would be extremely valuable
• Knowledge of graphics and visualization tools such as Adobe CS 5 Suite including Illustrator, Figma, Photoshop would help
• Experience with data analysis and data visualization using tools such as SAS, Excel, SPSS, MatLab/R.
• Working experience with of NLP and ML models preferable.
• Demonstrated ability to take complex information and/or large data sets and translate them for use in graphic or interactive visualizations for the web and/or other media.
• Familiarity with current web standards-based HTML, CSS and interactive tools such as JQuery or other Javascript-based code libraries
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills - strong oral, written communication, and presentations skills.

Education:

• Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Masters degree preferred
