Job Description: TITLE: Lead Supply Chain & Quality Manager EMPLOYER: Airbus Americas, Inc. LOCATION: South Pasadena, FL DUTIES: Manage supply chain team and functions for dedicated suppliers in Tampa and travel to other central Florida locations as needed. Manage activities for suppliers for commercial civil aircraft Secure supplier approval, supplier product conformance, supplier deliveries, industrial process maturity through supplier control reviews. Develop and implement strategic projects with suppliers based in the Tampa. Maintain monitoring and analysis of supplier performances through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and organize performance review through audits, assessments, recovery plans and missions, Corrective Improvement Development (CID), and industrial risks management with internal and external stakeholders. Initiate and organize suppliers' ramp-up capacity and capabilities assessments to address ramp-up or major planning changes for suppliers. Ensure monitoring of major industrial risks and manage major planning changes, industrial transfers and design changes from an industrial point of view in order to protect Airbus operations. Proficiency in IT tools, including SAP, Skywise, and Supplier mapping to ensure job is performed efficiently and reporting is enabled. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of experience in quality or supply chain management for manufacture of commercial civil aircraft. Prior experience must also include the following: providing assessments of supplier capabilities and capacity for commercial civil aircraft manufacturing and assembly; applying best practices and tools for optimization of supply chain & quality; communicating at all levels within a supplier's organization and in an enterprise level commercial civil aircraft supply chain and quality function to provide recommendations and influence strategic decision making; summarizing complex industrial situations such as major recoveries impacting the customer, Transfers of Work between vendors, and de-risking; working in a team matrix and experience developing non-traditional, alternative solutions to address complex supply chain issues; working with large suppliers who provide support for commercial civil aircraft manufacturing; working with raw materials manufacturing, aerostructure assembly techniques, and equipment and systems build; working with PPS (Practical Problem-solving) tools and methods, including Shainin and 8D; and using and providing training on APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) projects, including variation reduction through 6 sigma and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approaches.
