Role Objective Support the Continuous Improvement Sr. Manager in driving operational effectiveness and efficiency in the supply chain by identifying, leading, and facilitating projects focused on improving and optimizing manufacturing and distribution processes. The Specialist will report to the Continuous Improvement Sr. Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence targets and contribute to the overall OpEx strategy. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Evaluate plant efficiencies and drive cost savings through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams executing process improvement projects Lead and facilitate Kaizen, SMED, DMAIC and other continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with business leadership to perform process analysis and recommend improvements Conduct root cause analyses and develop actionable recommendations with team Manage and execute projects on time, on budget, and on target utilizing disciplined Project Management methodologies Support and coach Daily Management Systems - mentor front line leadership Build operator capability through training and development of SOPs, Work Instructions, and One-Point Lessons Communicate recommendations, progress, and results to stakeholders Maintain a Quality mindset throughout initiatives supporting Change Controls and other Quality activities as needed Track and report on project progress, key metrics, and cost savings achieved Facilitate training/workshops to build knowledge and drive change through others with continuous improvement methodology Foster a culture of continuous improvement by building relationships and engaging with all levels of the organization as a champion for Operational Excellence Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Analysis/Management, and/or Industrial Engineering/Engineering Certified Green Belt or equivalent in Six Sigma or Lean Preferred Minimum 4 years of work experience in a manufacturing production environment focused on Continuous Improvement - work in a regulated industry a plus Other Skills Proficient at data gathering, analysis and modeling software as well as Word, Excel, Access, Project, Minitab, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI, Smartsheet and/or other similar applications. Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management Supervision/Coordination Train, coach, mentor, and direct individuals, teams, and projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the Sr. Manager in prioritizing and coordinating improvement activities Travel Requirements Overnight Travel - sporadic - required. Travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed FLSA Status Exempt Compensation & Benefits The expected starting pay for this role is between 92,200.00 - 126,800.00 per year. Within this range, an offer will depend on factors such as level of experience and technical competencies relevant to this specific role, as well as internal equity considerations.
