In Collaboration with the Aphasia Center Director and SLP, plans and manages events and activities of the Aphasia Center (e.g., activity groups, educational programs, outreach events); responsible for all communications, record-keeping and financial tracking, preparation of periodic reports, implements special projects as needed

Job Description

Essential Functions:

Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

Help coordinate and manage activities of the Aphasia Center

Tracks revenue and expenses supporting the Aphasia Center

Responsible for all communications associated with Aphasia Center Activities

Works with Development Office to organize and coordinate fundraising and advocacy events

Other duties as needed and assigned to maintain the efficient operation of the Aphasia Center`

Education:

High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred

AND

3+ years of administrative and fundraising experience Strong organizational and planning abilities; able to work independently; excellent writing and communications skills; Competence with computer software including Microsoft Office Suite. Previous healthcare experience with adults preferred
