Electro-Mechanical Technician (4 nights on, 4 nights off)

We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician supporting the MTO ASPEX Production Team in Fort Worth, TX, a typical day will include:

• Assist in the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.

• Support planning, budgeting, and scheduling of facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and related costs.

• Help coordinate building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

• Support the management of contracts and contractors.

• Engage with insurance providers to assist in developing and executing risk reduction projects such as fire prevention.

• Contribute to facility master planning and assist in managing the Real Estate portfolio, including lease management, transaction management, and financial oversight/alignment for lease and maintenance costs.

• Perform complex tasks of a highly technical nature, applying scientific and engineering principles to solve problems and innovate.

• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.

• Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization, committing to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

• 3 Years of Relevant Experience

• Location: Onsite

• Work hours: 4 nights on, 4 nights off

• Travel:10% Domestic and/or Intl.
