Overview

Job Purpose

The ICE Mortgage Technology Senior Technical Consultant develops and implements solutions that require analysis and research. Works on one or more projects as a team member or occasionally in a lead role. The ideal candidate will have five or more years' experience implementing software focused on but not limited to eCDE, Data Integration Services (DIS) and Web Direct applications. Additionally, the consultant will act as a liaison between the internal and external customers, users, and product owners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to demonstrate understanding of their business and technical needs.
  • Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology, or regulations related to system design, enhancement, acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications.
  • Defines product scope, objectives and requirements for implementing a client on several different ICE solutions.
  • Assist clients in testing and post-production support documents to ensure application enhancements meet their needs and maintain integrity.
  • Training may be delivered one-on-one as knowledge transfer or in a virtual classroom setting, depending on the number in the audience and client preference.
  • Devises and/or modifies processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and to solve the most complex technical problems.
  • May mentor, guide, advise and/or check the work of less experienced Business Systems Analysts or Technology Business Consultants.
  • Create detailed procedures, flowcharts, and other consulting materials as required by each engagement.
  • Play a pivotal role in training clients and internal personnel (Client Support) on implementations, new systems, or procedures.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a product support role.
  • Experience training clients and/or internal users on software or data products.
  • Working knowledge of the following ICE Solutions; eCDE, Data Integration Services (DIS) and Web Direct applications and general XML/SOUPUI.
  • Mortgage industry and mortgage software application experience.
  • Experience with legacy Black Knight and current ICE Mortgage Technology products, services, and capabilities.
  • Previous software implementation experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).
