Position Overview

The Materials Management Associate III, MSN will assist in a variety of Material Management and Production Planning functions; including but not limited to purchasing, inventory management, cycle counting, SAP/EWM data management, fulfilling internal inventory requests, documentation, cross-company transfer of goods, staging, shipping, receiving, and distribution of goods and supplies. This position will work within defined protocols and procedures.

This position will be working fully on-site at our 650 Forward Drive location in Madison, WI with the regular schedule of Friday-Tuesday 4 PM-12:30 AM.

Essential Duties

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive, verify, inventory, or deliver incoming materials.
  • Responsible for restocking materials for clinical laboratory and production manufacturing to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance with inventory standards.
  • Perform NCMR segregation, containment, and disposition phases.
  • Execute purchase requisitions and stock transfer orders to maintain inventory levels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Provide training to associates as needed.
  • Develops, documents and recommends best practices and assists with process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage cycle count process
  • Facilitate shipment of outgoing materials or products.
  • Maintain inventory records for raw materials, intermediates, disposables, consumables, reagents, and spare parts.
  • Handle products using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Support and comply with the company's safety and environmental procedures and Quality Management System procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in business, operations, or a related field; or high school diploma and 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or material handling operations.
  • 1+ years of experience with database, spreadsheets, and statistical programs.
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing SAP for inventory management or other ERP systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to be forklift certified.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in a GMP, CAP, and/or ISO13485 environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work seated for approximately 40% of typical working day and standing for about 60%.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen for about 65% of a typical working day.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to Travel 5% of working time, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Salary Range:

$45,000.00 - $72,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
