We're looking for a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy Library Circulation Assistant to support daily library operations and help make the library a welcoming space for our community. If you're passionate about literacy, community engagement, and enjoy helping others, this could be the perfect fit!

Schedule: Hours vary, will be anytime between 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday - Friday, and 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday

Pay: $11/hr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist patrons at the circulation desk with checkouts, returns, and general inquiries
  • Help locate materials using the catalog and provide guidance on library services
  • Shelve books and maintain a clean, organized environment
  • Provide basic tech support on library computers, printers, and networks
  • Support special events, preschool story time, book clubs, and craft programs
  • Create and distribute promotional materials (bookmarks, flyers, event calendars)
  • Visit local businesses, schools, and community groups to promote library programs




Qualifications:



  • Entry level; must have knowledge of computers, MS Office, etc.
  • Knowledge of standard library functions and operations
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Familiarity with computers, tablets, and Microsoft Office (especially Publisher)
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and work independently
  • A creative and helpful attitude
