Human Resources Assistant

Staffmark is currently hiring a Human Resource Assistant for a short-term assignment in West Chester, OH. This is a hands-on administrative role focused on document handling and digital file management within a Human Resources setting.

Pay: $20-$24/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Scan employee documents into ADP (online payroll system) and upload files to OneDrive
• File or shred documents per retention guidelines
• Operate copier/scanner equipment, often while standing for extended periods
• Ensure accurate uploading, saving, and transferring of digital files
• Read and interpret handwritten documents with small or unclear text
• Maintain strict confidentiality; candidates must not be personally acquainted with current employees

Requirements:

• Previous direct experience in HR, administrative, or document management roles
• Ability to lift 30-45 lbs as needed
• Comfortable standing for long periods during scanning tasks
• Strong attention to detail and file organization skills
• Casual dress code: jeans and a nice shirt acceptable (steel-toe shoes a plus, not required)
• Excellent eyesight or ability to work with hard-to-read handwritten materials
