Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Computer Engineer IV to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience and interface design, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team of developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and enhance user interfaces to improve user experience.
• Collaborate with a team of developers to identify and resolve issues, create innovative solutions, and provide support for deployed applications.
• Write, test, debug, and document software in multiple programming languages, adhering to modern best practices and standards.
• Document code and engineering procedures to ensure clarity and maintainability.
• Participate in virtual team meetings to discuss project progress and share insights.
• Assist in the creation of user manuals and other technical documentation to support end-users.
• Facilitate functional testing of software to ensure quality and performance.
• Work autonomously and participate in a team of developers to solve issues, create solutions, and provide support for deployed applications.

• 5+ years of experience creating, managing, and deploying/integrating containerized databases, services, and applications with container engine and orchestration tools such as Docker/Podman and OpenShift/Kubernetes into a functional architecture.
• 5+ years of experience installing, operating, and maintaining physical and virtual servers and associated hardware and software components necessary to instantiate software development and production environments in unclassified and classified settings.
• Expert in Agile software methodology and experience managing and using CI/CD pipelines.
• Local to Crane, IN

Education:

• BS in Computer Science, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field preferred.
• Industry certification required for IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570 (for example CompTIA Security+) - willing to obtain prior to start date.
