Summary: Manages and oversees site security programs and actions in accordance with applicable security regulations.Must have an active Secret Security Clearance as issued by the U.S. Government and SCA Tools NISP, DISS, and NBIS. Responsibilities: * Drive security related corrective actions from quality indicators provided by BEI and others * Establish justifications for new equipment purchases * Assist in the quoting process for new equipment * Monitor and audit security systems and classified controlled areas to determine security program compliance * Initiate corrective actions to correct and improve issues discovered * Coordinate with government agencies and corporate functions to obtain rulings and interpretations for compliance with regulations to match or update our procedures * Provide guidance and training to co-workers regarding Department of Defense (DoD) and company security regulations, procedures and interpretation of Security Classification Guides (SCG) * Participate in new hire orientation to perform new employee security training * Maintain access control, surveillance processes and badge processes * Process incoming/outgoing visit notifications for classified visits * Operate an effective security awareness and education program * Process personnel security clearances * Serve as primary communications security (COMSEC) account custodian at site, maintaining accountability of key material and Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI); STU-III and STE * Prepare, review and approve DD254 during proposals, bids, RFQ and issue for classified subcontracts * Investigate report of loss, potential loss or compromise of classified material and provide root cause/corrective action * Respond as on-call person for alarm activities in the facility * Function as the site Information System Security Manager (ISSM), providing Certification and Accreditation of classified Information Systems (IS) as well as creation, submission and maintenance of System Security Plans and Protection Profiles for ODAA * All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
