Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays

Starting Pay: $24.00 - $25.50 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Systems: Oversee landfill gas (LFG) collection systems, including vertical wells, condensate collection, monitoring stations, and pneumatic pumps.
  • Monitor and Optimize: Conduct regular inspections of well fields, perimeter wells, pump stations, and leachate levels to ensure efficient gas collection.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Adjust extraction wells and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain LFG control plants, flare units, and leachate control systems.
  • Collaborate with Contractors: Escort and coordinate with third-party vendors to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Prepare and submit operational, safety, and environmental compliance reports.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial process control (landfill gas systems preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Experience with pneumatic pump troubleshooting is a plus
  • This is a safety-sensitive position - Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
