Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Wage: $35.00 - $40.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience to join our team in Waukesha, WI. This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks to support the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, facility systems, and supporting infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have experience with both mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Apply now!

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems including 3-phase power, motors, panels, lighting and controls

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues on welders, CNC machines, presses and other heavy equipment

- Assist in the installation, relocation and set-up of new equipment

- Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize equipment downtime

- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and equipment manuals

- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

- Support facility projects such as lighting upgrades, conduit runs and power drops

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

- High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications preferred

- At least three years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical focus

- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, including 480V, 3-phase power

- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, relays, and troubleshooting electrical controls

- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manuals

- Experience with welding equipment and heavy manufacturing machinery a plus

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying conditions including standing, climbing or kneeling
