Position Title: Denials Specialist
Wage: $17/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday QPS Employment Group is currently hiring for a Denials Specialist position on behalf of a reputable company in the Cedar Valley area. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience and a sharp eye for detail to join a professional and fast-paced healthcare-related environment. Denials Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Review and analyze denied medical insurance claims to determine the root cause - Investigate and resolve denial issues by working with internal departments, providers, and insurance companies - Communicate with healthcare providers and payers to ensure claims are processed accurately and efficiently - Identify denial trends and help implement strategies to reduce future claim denials - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, medical coding standards, and insurance requirements - Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of all denied claims and resolutions - Utilize specialized billing and denial management software to track and manage claims Denials Specialist Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of recent office experience - Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Familiarity with healthcare terminology and coding (ICD-10, CPT) is a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
