Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is Houston's premier multispecialty group practice, founded in 1949 by Dr. Mavis Kelsey in Houston's famous Texas Medical Center. More than 850 physicians and allied health professionals practice at 40+ locations and an accredited Sleep Center in the Greater Houston area. Medical services offered by Kelsey-Seybold include medical care in 55 medical specialties including primary care and specialty care, outpatient surgery centers, an accredited Sleep Center, a Radiation Therapy Center, laboratory services, advanced radiology services and other diagnostic services, and a secure web portal for patients to communicate with their Kelsey-Seybold doctors, get test results and schedule appointments.

Kelsey-Seybold has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as the nation's first accredited Accountable Care Organization and a Level 3 (highest) Patient-Centered Medical Home. Kelsey-Seybold has many physicians in the Greater Houston area certified for excellence in diabetes, heart and stroke care by the NCQA. In addition to these recognitions, Kelsey-Seybold is home to a nationally accredited Breast Diagnostic Center, Endoscopy Center, Infusion Center and Cancer Center.

Our physicians practice medicine in a collaborative manner amongst many medical specialties and subspecialties embracing technology and teamwork to provide patient centered care. Our compensation package is productivity based and includes salary, paid time off, CME, and matching 401K. Affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Heart Institute.

At Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department is dedicated to women's health, supported by a diverse and cohesive team of caring, competent providers. Our OB/GYNs deliver comprehensive obstetric care and emergent gynecological services, focusing on women's health throughout their adult life. This includes the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions specific to the female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal imbalances. Our specialists also guide and support women throughout their pregnancy in the hospital setting.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Provide hospital-based obstetric and emergent gynecological care
  • Participate in regional OBGYN team rotations, performing hospital-based duties
  • Round on inpatient obstetric patients, manage scheduled labor inductions, and perform planned C-sections
  • Admit and manage labor for patients assigned to the regional Kelsey provider group
  • Work 24-hour shifts, with an expectation of 7 shifts per month, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications:



  • Completed or be in the process of completing a residency program when applying
  • Licensed in the State of Texas
  • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible



Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 to $484,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
