Your role

As a SAP Master Data Stewart, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of the master data across materials, equipment, customers, and systems.

Your mission is the following:




  • Manage, maintain, and cleanse the material master data, ensuring that lead times, business dimensions, and other material-related fields are accurate and up to date. This includes new material creation as required to fulfil customer orders from released quotes.
  • Manage, maintain, and cleanse the equipment master data, ensuring that business partners, business dimensions, and other equipment-related fields are accurate and up to date.
  • Support and assist accounting, with maintenance, and cleansing of customer master data, ensuring that business partners, business dimensions, and other customer-related fields are accurate and up to date.
  • Support logistics and service operations by creating and maintaining work centers, storage locations and ship-to accounts for newly hired Field Service Technicians.



You will collaborate with product managers, service coordinators and accounting personnel to provide reliable and consistent data to support the organization's operations and decision-making processes. Through commitment to data excellence and operational consistency, you will empower the BeaconMedaes organization to deliver high-quality product and services while driving efficiency and success across all facets of the business.



Primary responsibilities include:



  • Manage and maintain material and equipment master data.
  • Support and maintain customer master data in cooperation with the customer master data steward.
  • Ensure accuracy and up-to-date information for material lead times, business dimensions, pricing, and other material-related fields.

    • Includes: Supersession and obsolescence management, mass pricing updates and materials alignment with Global Quote System (GQS).


  • Ensure accuracy and up-to-date information for business partners on equipment records

    • Includes: Requesting and approving cross-border movements.


  • Perform data cleansing to improve data quality.
  • Work closely with product managers, logistics, service coordination and accounting to provide reliable and consistent data.
  • Support the organization's operations and decision-making processes

    • Includes: Creation and maintenance of technician work centers, storage locations and ship-to accounts.




  • Drive the success of products, operations and organization through data accuracy and collaboration.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop and implement data management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and usage.
  • Train and educate stakeholders on data management best practices.
  • Continuously improving data management processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations.
  • Communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Participate in data-related projects and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and trends in data management.


To succeed, you will need

Experience



  • 3 years of directly relevant experience.


Education



  • 4 year university degree in data management, information systems or related field; or work equivalent experience.


Skills



  • Must be an independent self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Must also be customer-service oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and analytical, skills.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement and data-driven decision making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Teams, Microsoft Outlook.
  • SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • SQL experience is an asset.
