Pay : $26.75 per hour

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in carrying out procurement and planning functions at the Cinder Bed Road location. Assists in purchasing commodity products, equipment, and supplies. The Assistant Program Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of daily order management and can help solve complex problems with innovation and ingenuity.

Primary Duties

  • Manage the day-to-day production operation and requirements of current projects by monitoring pickups/deliveries, daily throughput, and productivity levels for all assigned staff.

  • Meet or exceed all budget and financial objectives for assigned programs by aggressively pushing for favorable pricing and delivery of items.

  • Meet or exceed all delivery timetables by coordinating material delivery and set-up/installation; assists with emergency deliveries.

  • Meet or exceed all requests for information by providing timely reporting on material planning, open order, metrics, etc.

  • Meet all requests for Customer Service assistance in a timely and efficient way: order processing, quotes, sample requests, returns, billing resolution. Maintain updated pricing on all purchased items. Assist in repricing of FRSS and CAPCA kits on the Federal Procurement List.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Research and obtain new business for the Supply Division.

  • Consult with customer production lines and manufacturing groups to understand demand forecasts; schedule material lots and review pricing. Serve as a liaison between the customer and supplier for product sourcing.

  • Enter inventory, purchasing, and QC data into Fishbowl or other applicable 3PL and customer systems; assist in 3rd party vendor and item set-up. Assist in qualifying new suppliers.

  • Change Notification compliance updates engineering change orders, part# updates, adding/deleting materials when needed. Liaison for customer to negotiate pricing with customers and non-suppliers seeking beneficial supplier agreements. Provide reporting on material planning, open order, metrics, etc.

  • Work closely with MARCORSYSCOM and customers on product delivery and pricing.

  • Manage and maintain inventory at Cinder Bed Road location and any other assigned warehouses.

  • Assist in completing quarterly inventory audits.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • Bachelor's degree in business, social services, or related field preferred. High school diploma with 5 years' experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.

  • Two (2) years of related experience working with disabilities required.

  • Inventory Management experience is required.

  • Experience using Fishbowl inventory management is desired.

  • Experience with procuring medical supplies preferred.

  • Preferably working with medical components.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Custodial experience and/or knowledge in the use of commercial cleaning solutions.

  • Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver documentation requirements and regulations.

  • Ability to relate well to people at all levels of an organization.

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to become familiar with corporate specific programs and software such as ZOOM and Microsoft Teams.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to new information and guidance quickly.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and able to carry out work with the highest levels of accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent customer service skills (phone and in person).
