CBIZ is seeking a Benefits Administrator to join our growing National Human Resources team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Benefits Department in the daily functions of benefits administration and compliance. The Benefits Administrator also provides excellent client service, investigates new benefits offerings, improves existing programs and provides analytical support in the delivery of benefits programs. This role will report to the Senior Benefits Manager.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Management of enrollments and determination of employee eligibility

  • Coordination with Payroll for appropriate benefit deductions

  • Processing of terminations, address changes and qualifying life events

  • Monthly billing reconciliation

  • Assist with Firm Compliance

  • Handle benefit inquiries and complaints

  • Develop communication tools

  • Perform post-enrollment audits

  • Assist with other ad hoc HR administrative duties

  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to switch from one task to another seamlessly

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Previous Human Resources internship preferred

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's Degree or two years of experience on a specialized subject matter

  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise

  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally

  • Effective customer service skills

  • Proficient use of applicable technology

  • Ability to work in team environment as well as independently

  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities

The hourly rate for this job in this market is $24.35-$30.44. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
