Secret Shopper

Staffmark is hiring a part-time Secret Shopper to assist with compliance checks at local convenience stores. In this role, you'll help ensure store clerks are properly verifying IDs during tobacco and alcohol purchases. This is an entry-level position, perfect for detail-oriented individuals with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule. Keep reading to learn more!

Pay: $17.50/hour + $0.62/mile reimbursement

What You'll Do:

• Visit convenience stores using your personal vehicle
• Attempt mock purchases of age-restricted items (no purchases actually made)
• Observe whether the clerk asks for ID
• Provide a green card if they ask for ID, or a red card if they don't
• Record all details (date, time, clerk name, store info, and card color) on your visit log
• Report your results the same day via www.barschecker.com or by phone
• Pick up your visit packet from our office before starting your route

Requirements:

• Must be between 21-25 years old
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR check required)
• Comfortable using all extremities and working independently
• Must complete a short training video and quiz to receive a checker ID
• Rehire rule: Participants must wait 2 months before repeating the assignment
