The Position

As an Events Partner on the Bay Area Site Experience Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping an exceptional, engaging environment for employees through innovative event programming and site transformation initiatives. The Opportunity

As part of the Site Services Team in the Bay Area, the Events Partner is responsible for strategically leading internal events, external events and site experience programs to ensure exceptional engagement and satisfaction for employees, customers and visitors. This individual develops objectives and strategies for the overall effectiveness and execution of engagements. The role also manages and executes projects intended to maximize company exposure and user engagement such as campus tours and the innovation showcase areas. The Events Partner will determine event participation scope and develop a calendar of events. This individual works with internal/external resources to obtain needed materials and services. The Events Partner will direct event planning programs including production, lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with outside vendors. This individual will also build the long-term roadmap to elevate our corporate space for expanded event use.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the annual calendar of internal events, including employee engagement initiatives, tours, cultural celebrations, appreciation events, etc.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external event stakeholders, building strong partnerships.

  • Serve as the strategic lead for event catering programs, partnering with vendors to ensure quality and innovation.

  • Oversee the formation and support of employee-led hobby clubs and interest groups.

  • Develop site experience communication content and collaborate with Site Ops communications partners to maximize user engagement (digital signage, event newsletters, site announcements).

  • Develop a long-term strategy to enable corporate space to become a venue with expanded use, vendor partnerships, and marketing.

  • Organizes activities ensuring completion on schedule, within scope and budget constraints.

  • Own the events budget and ensure cost-effective, high-impact programming.

  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders (P&C, Site Operations, Communications, Security, etc.) to ensure alignment and shared goals.

  • Track event KPIs and employee satisfaction metrics to continuously improve.

  • Other duties assigned by management.

Who you are

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.   • 6+ years of experience in corporate, hospitality, or venue event planning, including strategic planning and stakeholder management.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple complex programs.

  • Exceptional vendor management and partnering skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Expertise in budget and vendor management.

  • Creative, collaborative, and solutions-oriented.

  • Experience building new programs or business models is a plus.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.

  • CMP or other professional event certification preferred.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $75,700.00 - $140,500.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
