Post Doctoral Associate AC Georgia State University Robinson College of Business Institute for Insight Established in 2015, the Institute pioneers interdisciplinary research by bringing together its core faculty in computer science, statistics, and engineering with scholars from management, law, and social sciences. Together, they work to understand, model, and shape the future of computing and online experiences. The Institute aims to be a trusted resource for various stakeholders: students looking to drive business transformation with emerging technologies like data science and AI; faculty researchers utilizing business domain and industry expertise to enhance their impactful research; and strategic partners seeking to devise creative, practical strategies that address real-world challenges and deliver positive business outcomes. The Institute for Insight is equipped with a computer cluster that includes multiple GPUs, designed for big data analytics for both structured and unstructured data, such as text, images, and videos. Additionally, there are individual machines available, each with high-performance GPU cards for enhanced processing capabilities. Various projects utilizing machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI to solve business and healthcare problems have been undertaken at the Insight Lab. HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO The essential duties and responsibilities of the Postdoc Research Fellows are the following: Research: * Work on novel AI/Data Science research with crucial interdisciplinary scope using machine/deep learning, generative/agentic AI, and knowledge graphs for problems in social, business, and health domains. * Gain experience in writing grant proposal for public and private organization by assisting faculty in the process. * Have the opportunity to collaborate with partners from industry and academia. Industry Engagement: * Manage applied innovative sprint projects from collaborative industry partners such as Truist, BBB, Shepherd Center, Mecedes Benz, among others.
