We are searching for a talented Cardiovascular Technologist

Hours: 32hrs

Shift: Day shift, variable 7:00am - 3:30pm, 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm and as needed with weekend, holiday and on call rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Manager, Echo Services or Designee perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties in Adult Echocardiography along with Carotid Ultrasounds and/or Pediatric Echocardiography. Provide health services using procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders. Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary of medical ethics. Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Employee may be required to be scheduled on call to provide STAT services during off hours, when the department is closed.


Qualifications

  • Successful completion of accredited program and attainment of both adult RDCS/RCS and/or RVT/RVS or pediatric RDCS (PE)/congenital RCCS credentials from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing (CCI).
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Current RDCS/RCS and/or RVT/RVS or pediatric RDCS (PE)/congenital RCCS is required.
  • CPR certification is also required.
  • Looking for a motivated cardiac sonographer with structural heart experience, knowledge of 3D acquisition preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
