This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry. Responsibilities:
Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Design and implement large-scale enterprise solutions using distributed caching, real-time data pipelines, and native microservices Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities - Develop and integrate FIX protocol-based trading or financial platforms, ensuring ultra-low-latency messaging and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership on enterprise integration projects using API Gateways
Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of professional software development experience with at least 5 years in architecture roles and more than 5 years in capital market domain knowledge. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering. Deep expertise in distributed messaging platforms and message life cycle from inception to consumption. Strong integration background with middleware, ESB, and API management tools. Strong proficiency in Java programming with a deep understanding of core and advance Java concepts and development best practices Proven experience in designing, developing and maintaining microservices based applications including working with RESTful APIs Advanced proficiency in Angular framework for building responsive and dynamic front-end applications. Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, Pub/Sub or similar messaging platforms. Proficiency with version control systems like Git /Bitbucket and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead complex technical discussions and make critical decisions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated leadership ability, including mentoring, developing talent within a technical team.
Desired Qualifications:
Programming proficiency in Java and understanding of multithreaded and low latency systems Strong Development experience in Java (Core or Full Stack), hands-on experience with developing, deploying and maintaining and debugging applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework, Spring MVC Good Understanding of low latency trading infrastructure. Experience with microservices architecture and all associated design patterns i.e. Saga pattern, API gateway pattern, Circuit breaker, CQRS and Strangler. Strong experience of performance monitoring tools like Glass Box. Strong knowledge of software intelligence platform Dynatrace for providing unified observability and security for modern, complex environments. Strong Understanding of Debt Capital Market Business especially Primary Issuance Commutation workflow. Strong Understanding of Equity Capital Market Business. Solid understating of Financial Exchange Protocol v4.4 and above. Strong handhold of FIXML an XML-based vocabulary used to represent FIX (Financial Information eXchange) Protocol messages. 4+ years working experience of QuickFIX Engine a Java implementation of FIX protocol. Integration experience of DirectBooks an Primary Issuance Communication workflow Tool. Distributed Database experience for high performance applications with in-memory speed. Understanding and knowledge of Hashi corp vault integration to secure sensitive application information. Working experience of GitHub Copilot and AI coding assistant. Good Understanding of distributed systems and supportive tools like Apache Spark, Apache kafka , Redis Cache, GridGain etc
