Position Summary

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a student to work alongside the Technical Analyst as support for ongoing and new IT projects, and to help manage our access databases.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate should have a basic set of computer skills, experience in troubleshooting and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, familiarity with iPad and iPhone devices, and some experience troubleshooting with computer hardware, setting up printers and HDTVs. Knowledge of how to set up a computer and install software. Basic website and html. Most important is the willingness to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting students, faculty, and staff with computer related troubleshooting
  • Providing general technical guidance, assistance, and maintenance support to end users, as requested, on diverse software applications, operating systems, and hardware systems
  • Setting up and imaging new computer systems and peripherals
  • Inventory management for all department assets
