POSITION SUMMARY As a direct report to the Sr. Manager, Training, the Field Training Manager is responsible for executing the vision and strategy for training programs across Nestle USA factories and distribution centers. This role focuses on enhancing employee capability, improving retention, and supporting career development initiatives for both hourly and salaried employees. Collaborating closely with regional teams and site -based training leads, the Training Manager ensures consistency, alignment, and measurable impact of training efforts throughout the network. This position is responsible for maintaining Training Foundations and ensuring all sites are prepared for audits. Additionally, the Training Manager is responsible for capability building and alignment of goals across the Factory and Distribution Center training community. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Training Strategy & Execution
- Support the execution of the training vision and strategy across all Nestle USA factories and distribution centers.
- Partner with the Sr. Manager to ensure alignment and consistency in training initiatives across the network.
- Standardize performance expectations, and coach site HRMs, Site Leaders, and Training Teams to drive adherence to key priorities.
- Lead category training team Monthly Operational Reviews to drive accountability, strategy progress, and alignment.
- Utilize data-informed insights to contribute to retention and career pathing strategies.
Capability Development
- Deploy effective training programs that enhance employee capability and support career development for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Contribute to the evolution of key programs, such as the Certified Trainer Plus, by identifying and addressing gaps in trainer certification and readiness.
- Assist in planning and executing major training events, including annual Field Trainer In-Person Meeting, with a focus on capability building and goal alignment.
- Communicate the impact of training initiatives through data-driven reporting and storytelling.
- Support the POKA utilization strategy at all sites, including change management and integration with onboarding and training systems. Monitor skills endorsements and ensure gap closure.
Capability Building
- Lead and coach site trainers, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with best practices and impactful activities.
- Collaborate with factory-based training leads to establish and monitor competency tracking, capability assessments, and development plans for Field Trainers.
- Support onboarding and development of training personnel.
- Facilitate goal setting and performance evaluations within the training network.
- Act as a consultant to Factories and Distribution Centers, escalating Leadership training needs and OD interventions to One Operations Functional and Leadership development Training team.
Operational Excellence
- Work directly with sites to ensure Training Foundations are maintained and that all sites remain audit ready.
- Uphold training standards and compliance across locations.
- Ensure effective onboarding programs for both salaried and hourly employees across all sites, accelerating speed to competence and reducing early leaver turnover.
- Develop and Maintain POKA work instructions, drive tool utilization for capability building and leverage skills endorsements to monitor training effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a liaison to key stakeholders, including Category HRBPs, Factory and Distribution Center HRMs, and Factory and Distribution Center Managers.
- Collaborate with leaders to align training priorities and contribute to the adaptation of onboarding content for field deployment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 5-7 years of experience in training, learning and development, or a related field.
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
