ISO New England is the independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. We are at the forefront of New England's ongoing transition to clean energy. ISO New England is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong foundation in software development and cloud infrastructure as well as a passion for automation, CI/CD, and platform reliability. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining secure, reusable, and scalable cloud-native platform components that empower development teams across the organization. This is a cross-functional role that blends software development, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), cloud architecture, and DevOps practices to accelerate ISO-NE's digital transformation and ensure operational resilience, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a collaborative engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You enjoy building scalable systems, automating everything, and enabling others through platform thinking. You're comfortable working across the stack-from coding to pipelines to infrastructure-and are passionate about security, reliability, and developer experience. What we offer you:
