LOCATION: Rank & Rally is searching for a General Manager of Retail for the Enterprise Center - Home of the St. Louis Blues (NHL).

Job Summary

The General Manager of Retail oversees all stadium retail operations and reports to the Director of Retail. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory standards as it relates to merchandising and distributing throughout the venue. The GM of Retail oversees retail supervisors, hourly associates and union cashiers; keeps all locations fully stocked, staffed, and operational. The GM of Retail is responsible for the results at the venue including daily team store, Blues games and other events, maintaining appropriate inventory levels and keeping the product selection up to the standards of the client.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee correct use and functionality of Retail Cloud POS system, as well as other information technology. Ability to problem solve within the POS system and pivot during events.
  • Assist with training and development of retail managers, supervisors, hourly workers and Union cashiers using Levy Core Signatures.
  • Manage the hiring, training, development and discipline of the department using Levy Core Signatures.
  • Responsible for partnering with Retail Management team to conduct physical inventories at agreed upon intervals.
  • Submits Retail department schedules to Director of Retail and ensures proper coverage of operation in conjunction with maintaining a work-life balance.
  • Communicates with stadium staff regarding expectations, promotions, and sales commissions.
  • Executes closing procedures which include associate commissions following every event.
  • Responsible for availability and scheduling department staff for everyday and event activations as well as compliance to HR Standards.
Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years retail operation management with 1-2 years buying experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience with RetailCloud or similar retail inventory management system
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be flexible with schedule, able to work nights, weekends and holidays
