*Hiring ASAP - Patient Registration Rep - Overnight (10:30 pm - 7am Thursday - Sunday) - $29/hr*
We're hiring a Patient Registration Representative to support our Emergency Department during the overnight shift. This is a part-time role working Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM (32 hours/week). *What We're Looking For:* * 1-2 years of experience in healthcare administration * Skilled in patient registration, including: * Checking in patients and collecting demographics * Verifying insurance and explaining consent forms * Answering phones and discussing financial responsibility Must be available for the full overnight schedule listed above. We're conducting phone interviews from Thursday, July 31 to Tuesday, August 5, with an anticipated start date of Thursday, August 14. *Job Description:* Check in patients, register patients , enter patient demographics, verify patient or visitor identity by collecting information and photo ID, identifying if patients can pay out of pocket fee or if they need assistance, explain consent forms they will need to sign, provide admissions paperwork, verify insurances, and answering phones. *Pay: *$29/hr + benefits *Contract to hire: *3-4 months with potential for extension or FTE role *Location: *Petaluma, California, 94954 (100% Onsite) *Schedule: *Thursday - Sunday / 10:30 pm - 7am (4 days a week, Part Time, 32 hours a week) *Estimated start date: *8/14 *Work envrioment:* Registration team for Emergency Department in a large Hospital *Must Have Skills/ Qualifications:* * Need at minimum 1-2 years of healthcare administration experience (Patient service rep, Registration clerk, admitting rep) * Hospital Experience preferred * Registration experience * Insurance verification * EMR or EHR (Electroniuc health reord system experience) * Detail oriented * Customer and patient focused mentality * Professional demeanor * Communication Skills * Multitasking * Teamwork * Ability to work independently *Why for work us:* * Competitive pay * Great opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare company and well known hospital *Interview Process: *30 min* *Phone screen interview with manager no onsite interviews *Interview time frame:* Interviews start Friday 7/31 -8/5.
