PURPOSE:

The Inventory Control Technician 3 will be responsible for processing daily outgoing and incoming shipments, preparing and issuing kits to Production, completing daily cycle counts, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and purchase order receiving. This includes monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. Supporting day-to-day logistics functions to ensure efficient material flow.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Process outgoing shipments (Domestic and International), including packing, labeling, and arranging carrier pickups.
  • Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Verify part numbers, quantities, and documentation against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Process daily requests for inv materials, prepare and issue kits to support Production and R&D.
  • Assist with daily cycle counts and quarterly inventory reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Production, Purchasing, Quality) to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide regular reports on inventory levels and performance.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department goals and business operations.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Oracle ERP.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.



The pay range for this role in Baldwin Park, CA is between $23.25/hr. and $30.50/hr. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
