Medical Assistant - Orthopedics
Schedule:Full-time, 40 hours/week Exceptional Benefits Starting Day One:
Overview: Assists the physician and office staff with performance of patient care activities consistent with the established standards of nursing practice. The incumbent in this position shall carry out his or her responsibilities and integrate into his or her work ethic the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person, applying Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area over which he or she has responsibility. In communicating with patients, families, visitors and co-workers, a caring, friendly, personal and professional Qualifications: Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office. Language Skills: Proficiency in Bosnian language (written and/or verbal) strongly preferred Primary Care - Certified Medical Assistant: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Language Skills: Proficiency in Bosnian language (written and/or verbal) strongly preferred LPN Qualifications: Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing Licensure: Active LPN licensure Preferred Experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office Language Skills: Proficiency in Bosnian language (written and/or verbal) strongly preferred We're bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.
