We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated candidate for an Entry-Level Office Support Position at our Sioux Falls office to perform a variety of general office duties, work processes, and projects. This position requires a commitment to integrity, excellence, and proactive problem-solving. The incumbent should be an agile, self-motivated and highly collaborative team member who must develop a thorough understanding of firm and office specific processes, procedures and information technology systems. This is an on-site position Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Your Role:

As an Office Assistant within our Office Services Department, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answering and routing incoming calls; gathering information on cold calls.

  • Greeting visitors professionally and notifying appropriate personnel.

  • Processing incoming/outgoing mail, including FedEx packages.

  • Scheduling conference rooms and managing food service for meetings.

  • Setting up and breaking down meetings; maintaining conference rooms and common areas.

  • Managing supply inventory including ordering, and stocking.

  • Performing basic office equipment maintenance and small office moves.

  • Communicating with vendors for building upkeep and cleaning.

  • Maintaining copy room supplies, including inventory and ordering.

  • Handling hardware requests and AV/VC support.

  • Assisting with computer moves and providing basic IT support.

  • Reconciling credit cards, entering time, and processing expense reports.

  • Performing copying, printing, scanning and processing check requests.

  • Preparing and formatting correspondence, conducting document edits, and assisting with closing binders.

  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

  • Teamwork Skills: Build constructive and collaborative working relationships to achieve goals and objectives.

Required Experience:

A High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working in a legal environment or professional services firm preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in firm's applications and document management system, including but not limited to MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, NetDocuments, Elite and other practice/functional area databases, as appropriate. Regular and predictable attendance is a core requirement of this position and the ability to work beyond the standard scheduled hours, as needed.
