ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Production Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, solder, and configure electronic or mechanical devices for use in clinical trials or medical applications.

  • Perform device-level inspections and quality control checks to ensure functionality and compliance with standards.

  • Use handheld test equipment (e.g., voltmeters) to verify device integrity.

  • Prepare and organize materials, tools, and workstations required for production.

  • Accurately record production data and complete documentation in accordance with internal SOPs.

  • Use applicable ERP system(s) to track inventory, record production steps, and close work orders.

  • Attend and participate in daily production team meetings, sharing relevant area metrics and feedback.

  • Respond professionally to internal requests related to production and device preparation.

Team Support and Training:

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new hires within the production team.

  • Lead product-specific training sessions in coordination with Product Management.

  • Coordinate and conduct briefings or floor meetings, sharing updates and addressing production priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED

What we look for:

Work Location Requirement:

This position requires full-time, on-site work from our office, Monday through Friday (100% in-office). Candidates must have the availability and commitment to work from the office during standard business hours.

Mandatory Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally involving precision tasks.

  • Proficiency in manual assembly, including soldering, component installation, and electronic device testing.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production setting.

  • Ability to operate standard electronic testing tools, such as handheld voltmeters.

  • Demonstrated reliability and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.

  • Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

  • Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in a production environment.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with ISO-compliant documentation procedures, preferably ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485.

  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory control.

  • Ability to train and onboard new employees, including preparation and presentation of materials.

  • Experience in medical device assembly or regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Basic knowledge of quality assurance standards and manufacturing best practices.
