We're seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Senior Accountant for a long term contract role. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting as our organization continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities General Ledger & Month-End Close * Prepare and post journal entries across multiple entities * Lead or support month-end and year-end closing activities * Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve variances in a timely manner Account Reconciliation & Financial Analysis * Perform recurring bank and account reconciliations * Maintain schedules for accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets * Support reporting and financial analysis through accurate, well-organized data Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight * Partner with AP/AR teams to ensure proper coding and resolution of discrepancies * Review invoice processing and vendor reconciliations as needed * Ensure consistent and timely payment cycles Audit & Compliance * Prepare documentation and assist with internal and external audit requests * Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls * Organize and safeguard financial records Qualifications * 4+ years of progressive accounting experience * Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting or ERP so * Highly organized with excellent attention to detail * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Bachelor's degree in Accounting After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
