Description

Essential Functions:
1.Reconciles weekly payroll hours for hourly employees and compiles the data loaded into the payroll software.
2.Processes salary and hourly employee payroll via UltiPro, the HRMS software.
3.Ensures timely and accurate reporting of payroll taxes and benefits, including issuing W-2s.
4.Prepares all payroll and benefit journal entries, including accruals as well as reconciles all payroll accounts.
5.Tracks and reports upon all capital expenditure projects.
6.Maintains Bank of American credit card system and prepares related journal entries.
7.Monitors all non-routine bank transactions and prepares related journal entries.
8.Prepares monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts, researching and resolving any discrepancies.
9.Assists in invoicing company's customers on a timely, complete, and accurate manor, to ensure the company bills a customer for all that has been agreed to by the customer.
10.Assists in posting daily cash receipts and applies detailed cash remittances to customer accounts. Reviews and posts customer debit and credit memos, reconciling to BTD's return authorizations.
11.Resolves customer's issues regarding payment/paperwork by working with the customer's personnel and BTD's Sales and Customer Service departments.
12.Monitors aging accounts to assess customers' timeliness of payments. Communicates with customers in an effective manner to resolve past due account balances.
13.Maintains customer's credit limits. Collects credit information from new customers, determining appropriate credit limit based on credit references.
14.Document and monitor internal key controls for compliance with applicable processes, laws and regulations.
15.Assists Finance department with other projects as needed.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. 4 year degree or equivalent professional/manufacturing experience
2. Minimum two (2) years related experience.
3.CPA or advanced degree not required but a plus.
Experience and Skills Required:
1.At least one year of recent experience which provides the following skills and abilities:
a.Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
b.Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
c.Knowledge of basic accounting principles and the ability to apply them.
2.Must be able to maintain clerical records and a filing system.

Compensation Salary Range: OTC7 $57,245-$80,195 annually. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, etc.
