Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedSenior Data Engineerto join ourCommercial Data Productteam. This role is critical in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and quality frameworks usingGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)services. You will collaborate closely with data product owners, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and timely data solutions that support the Commercial, Onboarding, and Servicing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and supports robustevent-driven, streaming, and batch ELT/ETL pipelinesusing GCP services.
• Develops and maintains a comprehensivedata quality frameworkthat ensures data accuracy and reliability.
• Partners with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements.
• Translates business needs into scalable and maintainabletechnical solutions.
• Creates and maintainstechnical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts.
• Serves as atechnical experton the team: assigns tasks, mentors junior engineers, and conducts code reviews.
• Designs and implements solutions to ensure theperformance, availability, and healthof the data product.
• Proactively troubleshoots and resolves system issues in all environments

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience indata engineering, with a strong focus oncloud-native architectures.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience withevent-driven or real-time data processing.
• Deep expertise in GCP services, particularlyBigQuery, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Audit Logs, EventArc, andMonitoring.
• Proficiency inSQL, Python, andJavaScript.
• Experience withCI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, andinfrastructure-as-codetools such asTerraform.
• Strong understanding ofdata quality principles, observability, andmetadata management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity withAgile methodologiesand iterative development practices.
