UNC Physicians Network has a need for a Board Certified/Eligible Radiologist (MD/DO) for a per diem position at our UNC Rockingham Wright Imaging Center located in Eden, NC. This position will be a dedicated Diagnostic Breast Imaging Specialist and should be fellowship training or have extensive experience in breast imaging. The specialist will focus on the interpretation of breast imaging studies, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as perform image-guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localizations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered breast care, ensuring timely and accurate diagnoses for our patients. This is an onsite position, currently working on Mondays. The day of week is flexible! Commuting radius from Danville & Martinsville, VA (35 min); Greensboro, NC (40 min); Burlington, NC (50 min); High Point & Winston-Salem, NC (1 hour); Chapel Hill, Durham, NC, & Roanoke, VA (1.5 hours); Charlotte, Raleigh, Pinehurst, NC, & Lynchburg, VA (2 hours).
