About the Role Are you a detail-oriented healthcare finance professional with a passion for uncovering insights and driving accuracy in medical billing and coding? We're looking for a Healthcare Financial Analyst with deep expertise in medical coding, billing, reimbursement, and contract management. Job Responsibilities * Analyze and interpret medical billing data to support financial and legal processes. * Serve as an expert witness in court, providing testimony on billing practices and reimbursement methodologies. * Coach and advise healthcare providers on best practices in billing and coding. * Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in billing operations. * Leverage advanced Excel skills and EHR systems to manage, audit, and present data. * Clearly articulate the rationale behind billing and coding decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences. What We`re Looking For Required Experience: * 3-5 years of hands-on experience in medical billing and coding. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite. * Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings effectively. Preferred Experience: * Experience as a manager, team lead, or educator in the medical billing/coding field. * Familiarity with legal processes or prior experience providing expert testimony. * Strong communication skills and a knack for simplifying complex concepts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
