A receiving clerk must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. They must also have adequate physical strength to unload material received as well as the clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers. The receiving clerk must be able to process and maintain receiving records and receiving files. Some overtime required. Key Responsibilities

As a key job within the receiving dept. this job exercises leadership, coordination and planning for others. Requires above average communication skills in communicating with various departments throughout the plant as well as outside trucking and airline companies.
