Position Objective:

The Material Control Specialist I ensures proper handling, storage, and transport of raw materials inventory and in- process product. The Material Control Specialist I maintains transactional inventory accuracy and performs stock rotations in accordance with standard operating procedures. Responsible for daily tasks within warehouse areas.

Responsibilities:



  • Data entry of all SAP and Max transactions in the receiving and movement of raw material
  • Pull all needed raw and in-process materials required by the company in a timely
  • Utilize FEFO/FIFO practices
  • Assure compliance to all standard operating
  • Keep work areas in an organized and orderly fashion, storing materials to preserve their
  • Maintain the accuracy of the inventory through periodic physical counting of the
  • Assist as needed with material returns accordance to company Quality, Purchasing, Financial and Manufacturing standards.
  • Ensure expired materials are removed from
  • Timely transfer of needed materials for production and documents to storage

  • Driving of company

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of SAP/MAX or other material management software preferred Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & Microsoft Outlook Ability to work well in a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Forklift certification preferred; on-site training available
  • Must meet requirements to be an authorized driver of company insured vehicles
