Team Lead Production 1p-9:30p M-F

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures team member productivity and accuracy expectations are maintained with the Production areas. Oversees and troubleshoots conveyor, pick systems, and location accuracy to ensure constant carton movement. Investigates identified errors to resolve problems. Provides training and feedback to area team members regarding work performance. Prioritizes specific work according to divisions to meet deadlines. Evaluates and positions staff according to volume flow. Communicate with all department supervisors to ensure work completion. Disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and clean working conditions. Various other assignments as needed.

  EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: One-year general warehouse experience and high school diploma or comparable work experience required.

  SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize and work assignments. Strong basic mathematical skills. Excellent communication skills and adaptability to various assignments. Ability to work under stress and deal with multiple problems. Highly detail oriented to be responsible and accountable for accuracy.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills. Good communication (written/verbal) skills. Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments. Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).

Experience:

Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.

Other:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.

Physical demands refer to the level and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform critical tasks in support of critical job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

0-10 lb. Frequent

11-20 lb. Occasional

Walk on concrete floors frequently.

Gripping, pushing, pulling and fine hand manipulation continuously.

Twist or bend torso frequently.

Climb ladder occasionally.

Handling tools continuously (Computer, Tape Gun Cart).

Conditions:

Continuous temperature-controlled building.

May be expose to dust occasionally.

Work in a cold environment occasionally.
