Position: Fleet Operations Manager Pay: $23-$26/hr to start, with potential for increase to $60-$70K annually within 6 months Overview Are you experienced in managing vehicle fleets, rental operations, or general logistics? Our client is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee a dynamic fleet for one of their largest accounts. This is a hands-on role where you'll build strong client relationships, deliver daily operational support, and drive cost-saving initiatives that enhance fleet productivity. Your contributions will directly support client goals and help ensure long-term account success and growth. A Day in the Life * Oversee and manage a variable fleet of vehicles * Conduct thorough pre- and post-service inspections * Coordinate light detailing, washing, and cleaning of fleet units * Schedule mechanical and body repairs with third-party vendors * Ensure returned units are refuelled and ready for service * Maintain accurate records of all fleet activities and vendor interactions * Collaborate with clients and vendors to improve program efficiency * Provide strategic recommendations to optimise fleet performance Key Skills * Fleet management & maintenance * Rental equipment operations * Client account support * Operational process improvement * Excel and data entry proficiency Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required * Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) * 1-2 years of experience managing rental or fleet vehicles, including maintenance and customer service * 2-5 years of client service or account management experience, ideally in a B2B setting * Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Ability to be on your feet and drive for up to 8 hours * Availability to work weekends and some holidays Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
