KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, E&M Venue Strategy KPMG Lakehouse to join our Events and Meetings organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure scheduling policies, and procedures are followed; proactively partner with events and meetings Business Enablement and Insights team to identify, as well as resolve availability conflicts and communicate issues to events and meetings leaders accordingly
  • Receive and evaluate meeting requests for KPMG Lakehouse, reviewing meeting requirements and considering event delivery format and venue options, based on scheduling criteria (objective, travel, meeting space, seasonality, and more)
  • Optimize and maximize occupancy levels by following inventory management and group strategy principles; own the data accuracy in the tools supporting the Scheduling function, and collaborate with the offshore team on various reporting needs
  • Analyze and evaluate reports on utilization metrics, as well as monitor progress toward utilization goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, business leaders, local offices, and firm conference centers and engage with business leaders to understand their objectives to ensure strategically impactful programming
  • Build strong relationships with internal KPMG Lakehouse teams to become a known and reliable resource that understands operational needs, and make decisions that balance strategic and operational requirements
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of recent experience in hotel or venue sales, events or revenue management, event planning or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or two years relevant work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Cvent and using AI-powered tools is preferred
  • Capability to multi-task and set/manage priorities concurrently and meet deadlines with some supervision
  • Notable communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, attention to detail and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work in the KPMG Lakehouse office in Lake Nona, Florida on a hybrid basis
